Visit the Minneapolis Warehouse District, with local expert and walking tour guide Dave Riehle.
Visit the Light Rail Station with the 1934 strike photograph installation. Warehouse District/Hennepin Avenue station on the Hiawatha Line (on 5th Street North, between 1st Avenue North and Hennepin Avenue).
Attend a local labor rally or picket line. Many upcoming labor-related actions are announced at
Workday Minnesota and at Minnesota AFL-CIO.
Attend an area labor council meeting. To learn when these meetings are held, contact your closest area labor council listed at the Minnesota AFL-CIO.
Observe and interview workers on the job. Ask students to observe/interview workers at various locations (including staff and teachers at your school). Brainstorm interview questions with the students in advance. For students with jobs, ask them to interview their co-workers.
